I got my DL reneul yesterday..there want any Visa question asked at all..??..Is texas not following DL reneual only untill your visa expiry date??..:confused:
Even I got my TX DL renewed for 6 more years 2-3 months ago and that too on internet. Texas is a real liberal state! Michigan sucks.

As far as I know one of my friend did the same thing. His new H1B transfer (premium processing) got approved and his original extension petition is still pending.

Hi,
I have a VISA appointment in Vancouver, CA for stamping my US H1 B visa.
I was wondering if anyone has gotten there H1 B stamped from Vancouver lately. I want to know if they hold on your passport for a day and return it to you next day or do they return it on same day?
I need to plan on my return trip. Any help is appreciated.

This is the scenario:
1. Husband becomes a LPR this year.
2. Wife still undocumented.
3. Wife was working long time ago, but became a housewife for the past 6 years, so no work.
How would the wife adjust her status under the new CIR if she was not working for the past 6 years?
Would she have to wait until the husband is able to petition her through other regular means?
Any ideas or is it too early to tell how USCIS will issue it's regulations about CIR?

Given the uncertainity of getting green cards and the possibility of having to move back to India with your US born kids I would like to seek opinions on what IV members think is a relistic timeframe for kids born and raise in US to be able to tranfer to schools in India and still able to adjust/cope.
I am refering to regular SSC/ICSE/CBSE school in India (not IB or International schools). I am sure that the workload and requirements of the Indian schools is much rigorous then public school in US.

Hi Fellow forum users
I and my spouse both have primary/derivative through each other. However I only have EAD (dependent) through my spouse's principal AOS. Can I use that to change my job? I dont have time to apply for a principal EAD. Once I start the new job in dependent EAD can I apply for an EAD based on my primary AOS so that my new employer can drop a AC21 mail to USCIS? The reason I want to do this is to maintain my principal AOS as well.

A lot of people have been for a long time. That is the reason IV has formed to eliminate/minimize the wait.

That requirement is only for foreign passport holders travelling on visa/or visa waiver.
Us citizens are required tp present a non-expired passport, it does not say how long the passport needs to be valid for
