My I-485 has been pending for more than 6 months now. I have an EAD but I got an RFE on my AP. I don't know what its about as I have not received the RFE yet.

I am thinking of changing my job. In my new job I don't want to use my EAD since my AP status is still hanging. Can I keep working on H1-B visa as I still have 3.5 years left on my H1? If I travel outside the country, can I re-enter with a valid H-1B visa? Can this cause an abandonment of AOS if I enter on H-1B while my AOS is pending? Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi,

My husband and I work for a large MNC. We have our own L1's. Currently my husband's L1A is under processing. There is a RFE on it.

I want to know if we can change the status for him from L1 to L2 or to H1 without he having to leave the country?

If so what is the process to do it?

Can I apply for his L2 while his L1A is under processing?

The web being what it is - is there an all inclusive list anywhere for lenses which fit a particular camera body? My particular interest would be for the Maxxum 7D but, I'm sure data like this would be useful for all camera owners.

Sure, there are sites which review lenses and such but, an all inclusive list would make purchasing decisions more informative.

My lawyer notified that he has received an RFE for incorrect info on the I-485 Biographic info form. The last entry in the "last 5 years in the US" address list contains a start date of when i was not even in the US. Apparently his assistant goofed up with a typo. He is recommending that i prepare a signed affadavit explaining to the CIS that it was an honest mistake. Would that be enough? Can the G-325 be resubmitted ?

See here for the permanent residence (PR) procedure: Family-based Marriage Immigration categories - Elaine Martin Attorney (http://martinvisalaw.com/family_lpr.html). Getting married or starting the PR process should not affect your company's L-1 extension petition.

EB-485 processing times in NSC is FOUR (4) Months for the visa number available cases, and also pending EB-485 cases whose visa numbers are current and ready to adjudicate . So does this mean that cases with PD's not current but ready to adjudicate will get their I-485 approved by 6 months . Can some one please break it down for me .

I am right now on L1A visa recently filed for extension and still in processing.

I am planning to get married to my girlfriend here and apply for greencard.

Would appreciate information on how to proceed with that and wheather the L1 extension would affect it in anyway.
