I got my loan approved in April 2010 from Wells Fargo, the under writer created some problems but my loan officer gave them references of prior loans getting approved for people on AOS so it worked out well in the end. I know a lot of people who's loans were approved (both conventional and FHA) and were on AOS. All the best hope everything works out well for you.

I sent I-140, EAD copy for immigration documents. just got email from loan office that he received my file back from underwriter and ask for greencard copy front and back as underwriter said EAD is not acceptable (Employer can not sponsor borrower).
could anybody please tell me what to do now?

I have case id for ETA form. I could see my details by downloading MDB file from flcdatacenter. How can I know whether I am EB2 or EB3? I do not want to ask my employer.

We need to have sticky & web fax on this issue
This thread should be sticky as that will encourage others to do the same. I am wondering why there is no such guidelines from core so far but then I think core is just one of us like pcs who takes the initiatives.

wondering how yu came up with a list of contributors.......if i provide my transfer confirmations to IV and still cannot find my name in the list then how will I trust the veracity of yur list.....

Not sure but I guess the IV team is just picking names from when people post confirmation of the contribution, and quite likely inadvertently missed your name....
...not for argument either but I won't worry too much who is or is not on the list...I will just be content with contributing...who cares if I am on the list or not! :)

I read so many posts regarding india facing something similar to sub prime mortgage.
US is a very stabilized in terms of homes.
Consider India's growing high earning population.

Not true. Anybody donates will get Donor status. This is started for last few days, so people who donated in last few days get this. Pappu mentioned that he is planning to cross reference this with old donations but not sure whats happening there.

Flower campaign had similar fate - 2 to 3 truck loads of flowers just went into hospital. it was more of Lofgren involvement that helped us.
We need to think with cool heads and execute things properly - first organize ourselves - gain support - consult our counsel - come out with proper plan of execution.
From what I observed the action of USCIS redirecting flowers to hospital and armymen backfired. It was perceived as an insult to the brave soldiers.

Reverse Brian Drain. I believe it is already been identified and some of the State governors wrote to Washington that they are observing a reverse brain drain and it is not good for the country.
I just started my GC Process, But I kept a 5 Year time frame to try this out. That is my breaking point. I am sure everybody will have some or other breaking point. I don't think I want to browse IV website lifetime.
We do need to fight and give a sincere try to achieve this before the whole thing breaks out. But if it breaks out, I am sure both ends lose. I lose an opportunity to enjoy American dream.
Of course, America loses, jobs that I am indirectly creating. Taxes that I am paying. Social security. More than everything my experience.
In all this, my home country gains. All my savings and experience will work for India. I think it is an opportunity loss for America.
Imagine, 1M people, with an average saving of 20K per year with atleast 10 Years of compounding and then sending all this money to Home country to go back and settle there. It will create enough financial turbulence for any country.
On the contrary, Imagine the other way, if they give say citizenship faster, All those Indian Savings, repatriate to America. All of a sudden, America will add lot of fortune to their GDP for free.

Never the less we'll keep working on this bill and this also precisely why we're not pinning all of our hopes on only the Comprehensive Immigration Bill. I was hoping against all odds that this was not going to be true when they announced it last month. The iron is that I have been current for the last 2 months now. But when one thing reaches the goal, the other slows down. The damn TSC is was processing June applications while mine is early August. I am hoping that they allocated my file so that when they reach August date, visa would be available for me.
I have EAD and AP and alos have h1 until 2010. in 2010, I would have completed 11 years on H1b visa. My company maybe doing layoffs in the next few months, and I was hoping to get my GC by then. I dont wish to to use EAD because I have a DWI and its safe to stay on H1 for that.
how are the oppourtunities out there for Quality Aussrance/ Analysts.
