the question: 3 on page 3 of the I-131 applicatin - "If the travel document will be delivered to an overseas office, where should the notice to pick up the document be sent:"
in part 7 of the application --> can it be left empty???
since we r expecting to AP approval to arrive by mail to our mailing address, can we leave this question 3 on page3/part 7 EMPTY?

How can one tell a percentage number for something to pass? What kind of data can we base our calculations on?
Who said EB3 India will not forward next year? Did DOS say that? An individual lawyer is not Dept. Of State. I would like to see a written proof from DOS saying this so that we can plan ahead.
There were many naysayers for the July 2007 bulletin. But IV was able to get it current again. So stop believing in predictions and believe in yourself.

The strong impression that I took away from the converstaion, and this is only my interpretation, not what was said explicity, is the following:
The good news: the CIS backlog isn't as big as previously feared and their productivity is at an all time high;
More good news: China EB3 had almost caught up with worldwide EB3 and is likely to do so next year;
The bad news: when visa numbers become available again, India EB3 is going to be back where it was almost a year ago and it is not likely to move forward much in the next fiscal year.
More bad news: 40% to 45% of the entire backlog is Indian EB2 and EB3.
And barring, July 2007, EB3 I has moved only inches in the last 2-3 years and that's how much it would move in the next 2-3 years (and that's assuming a similar efficiency pattern that USCIS exhibited this year).
I am not trying to open a new can of worms here but reminding of an old one that is already existing - EB3 India. The most priviliged to remain in this god damn queue for as long as they wish and even beyond that.

If they had used up enough visas...why does it have to be still in Nov 2001.This is insane.Total Insane prediction.

However its better to conduct a rally in a week-end. Sometimes congress works in a week-end, if we conduct the rally in a week-end then many from NOVA will be able attend. That gives the nos. we are looking for. The other thing is the drive each and every one of the member need to do create awareness among like us. Some are not aware though on the same boat others are afraid due to lack of awareness.
Even my manager who is a white American told me he will join us for the rally if one conducted to show his solidarity.

svam77, I read your link. b.5 can be interpreted anyway one desires. So if we file 485 without the 140 receipt, but with only fedex proof of 140 delivery OR receipt# from check, it is completely up to the adjudicator whether to accept or deny or request more evidence. Agree?

Hey guys
Just received email from CRIS regarding I-485 denial notice for both me and my wife.
I used AC21 after 9 months of filing I-485. My I-140 was approved before even filing I-485 in July fiasco.
My attorney promptly sent AC-21 and G-28 and i did see LUD on my and my wife's I-485 after that.
My previous company informed me sometime ago that they are going to revoke I-140 and probably they did and i am assuming that's what triggered this.
This is certainly a big damm mistake they did even after sending AC-21 docs and G-28.
Sorry to hear about this but
If your employer revoked I-140 after 180 days of filing 485 and you did work for the employer who filed 140 for 180 days after filing 485 you will win with USCIS. Wait for the denial notice to find the reason, then file for Motion to reopen with your lawyer's help.
Your employer should not have revoked 140 (bummer) and if he did it after 180 days it cant be the reason for denial unless someone at USCIS just did the job in their usual way (read they dont read rules which they should follow day to day)

See so many ppl getting their EADs in 15-20 days. Mine was filed in first week of May at NSC, still no news. From the LUDs, it doesn't appear anyone has touched the applications yet.
Are these fast approvals only from TSC or there r ppl from NSC who see 15-20 day approvals?
so far almost all NSC approvals I have seen are >30 days. TSC is the one with the 2-3 week turnaround time! Even at I-140, mine sat on some shelf in NSC gathering dust for almost a year, while TSC was turning those around in a few months.

So many posts, so many links have been done on this. One of the main reasons, eb3 is so backlogged is this legal and greedy snatching of unused HB3 visas from 200 to 2005.
I see point and counter-point, but no action yet.
Where did the 50K visas come from? Where will the 90K visas come from?
Are they from the total pool of 144K/year or is this an additional amount (144K + 90K) allocated for health care?
Who is included in health care? Thanks.

I have asked the GM of my company to give me some political contacts (am still waiting on him) since he had recently gone to DC to do some lobbying for small businesses. Well, I've got a few reasons.
1. I don't like the attitude that comes along with the people that speak it.
2. I just don't like the language.
3. I don't live anywhere close to a place where I must know Hindi to survive.
4. The Indian Constitution recognises English as a subsidiary official language.
5. If I have survived as long as I have without knowing Hindi, I'm sure I can survive without knowing Hindi for the rest of my life.

I have gone through the text of old bill (page 265) and new bill (page 291). There is no difference b/w the two.
I believe cut off date will be Jun 19, 2007.

Actually you are partly right. Only those who had paid the revised higher fee last year are eligible to get renewals for free. All those who had paid the regular fee (July filers) pay for renewal everytime

I totally agree with you days_go_by. The US immigration law sucks. One the one hand they will keep on syaing that we have shortage of manpower and on the other hand they try to restrict. Every single head counts....even the persons on H4... H4's can also contribute to the economy...rather than a simple HEAD Count in this country.
